Hi All,

Sorry to ask this again as I see it in other threads but I didn't see a definitive answer.

Is it possible to get the Display Values for the selected values of a parameter, even in multiselect parameters and cascading parameters? There seem to be conflicting opinions on whether that should/will work.

Thanks a lot,
Mark

Mark,

You can get the display text using the RE api in the beforeFactory
event. Take a look at the attached example.

Thanks a lot Jason (as always, very helpful),

Do you know what version of BIRT that code will work with?
Currently, I have to use 2.5.2.

Thanks again,
Mark

Yes the code should still work with 2.5.2.
