New to eclipse here. I am connected to DB2 database and attempting to create reports for IBM TPC. I have sucessfully setup eclipse and created my first report but now would like to setup parameters to select by datetime range. I am using eclipse 3.7 - how do I go about adding a datepicker to the report so a user can select a date (or datetime) from the parameters?
Thanks
Jason

I dont have this directory structure under my %eclipse% install.
I'll describe the steps in random order:

Put the calendar.js script in: wepapps/birt-viewer/webcontents/birt/ajax/utility directory on the deployment server.
Put the calendar.gif file in wepapps/birt-viewer/webcontents/birt/images
Put the g2style.css file in wepapps/birt-viewer/webcontents/birt/styles

Backup the file : webapps/birt-viewer/webcontent/birt/pages/layout/FramesetFragment.jsp and replace it with the attached version.
Backup the file: webapps/birt-viewer/webcontent/birt/pages/dialog/ParameterDialogFragment.jsp and replace it with the attached version.
Backup the file: webapps/birt-viewer/webcontent/birt/pages/parameter/TextboxParameterFragment.jsp and replace it with the attached version.

Choose Date as the parameter type in your report.

Is that for version 3.7?

I have not tried it. I think it only works in deployed viewer though.

You should have plugins/org.eclipse.birt.report.viewer_3.7.1.v20110905/birt/webcontent/birt/ instead of wepapps/birt-viewer/webcontents/birt/. It seems to contain the same subfolders (ajax/, images/, and styles/). I haven't tried it yet, though.

Hi,

How didyou managed to install birt 3.7 for TPC reportig. I though that v2.2.1 is the only supported version to get the TPC views repository schema connected with BIRT.

Any kind of support would be great, cause currently iam using v 2.2.1 with TPC and DB2, but the current version does not support some functions. So if the upgrade is possible it would be great to know how its done?
