I would like to see Eclipse on Tablets, so that devs can code on the go. I understand that making an Eclipse IDE for each and every OS for Tablets out there can be an issue, so maybe a Web based IDE would be a good solution. Just a thought.

I for one would love to be able to use my tablets to code and work on. Migrate from my desktop/laptop.

Thanks,
Bobby

Have you looked at Orion?

I just registered for the beta and logged into Orion ... It did not work for the browser on my tablet ... I use an HP touchpad, it has a WebKit browser, full HTML5 support

thanks! Your suggestion was very much appreciated

I'm thinking a native app will have to done at some point in time for a tablet to be a viable development tool

Bobby,

While it's mainly tool support for Android SDKs and specialized Eclipse
distros like MotoDEV, a look at Sequoyah might also be worth if you're
interested in Tablet UI both Web and Native.

I suggested it for TMW (http://www.eclipse.org/tmw/) but there seems little
activity in that project these days,
thus, if Orion is more active, are there concrete use cases to make it work
on Tablet or Mobile systems?

If so, please check out OpenDDR, the only real Open Mobile Device
Repository: http://www.openddr.org
Happy to help Orion with that, too where it benefits User Experience on
different devices.
