Hi All,
I am learning to use BIRT, but I encountered a difficult problem.
When I was used the BIRT Cross Tab design my report in Eclipse BIRT VER2.5, why the show report data default have merge rows. I tried to changed this but also merge cells as format show it.
Actually according to this show as below:
AAA BBB CCC DDD EEE
------- --- C1 D1 E1
------- B1 C2 D2 E2
A1----- ---- C3 D3 E3
------- B2 C4 D4 E4
------- --- C5 D5 E5
I need show this view as below:
AAA BBB CCC DDD EEE
A1 B1 C1 D1 E1
A1 B1 C2 D2 E2
A1 B1 C3 D3 E3
A1 B2 C4 D4 E4
A1 B2 C5 D5 E5
So, I ask for your help and a solution.

You should be able to do this by adding a grid to the inner most row
column and then drag each field into the grid. See the attached
example. The first xtab uses this approach and the second xtab does not.
