You are right we mentioned wicket during a talk at EclipseCon2011. At
that time we where evaluating several web framework to bring Scout to
the web. We reached this step together with RAP (www.eclipse.org/rap).
RAP became a light weight web framework (see also
http://eclipsesource.com/blogs/2011/08/29/lightweight-osgi-applications-using-raps-widget-toolkit/).
For EclipseCon Europe 2011 (this year) we proposed the collaboration of
Scout and RAP within a talk
(http://www.eclipsecon.org/sessions/eclipse-scout-features-rap-best-both-worlds).
You could support us to get this talk in the program by adding a comment.
Sources and the ability to use Scout WEB client will be available around
EclipseCon Europe 2011.
