Did you read the Buckminster book? It's available on-line from our home page: http://www.eclipse.org/buckminster/
Click on "Documentation".

You can add the dependency like this:

<dependencies>
<dependency name="org.eclipse.equinox.executable" componentType="eclipse.feature"/>
</dependencies>

sorry, i wasn't aware of the book. anyways, i'm not getting the launcher, also with the dependency. giving up now after 3 days of wasted time and go for manual builds. thanks for your help.
