HI,
I'm running OS X 10.5 and having a hell of a time installing certain plugins due to a 'Cannot connect to keystore error'. I've tried to create a trial one on Thawte but got nowhere. Any suggestions? BTW - this will be for home use so I shouldn't need a real certificate - right?

Not enough information to go on.
Try describing EXACTLY:
a) what you have (version of Eclipse, Java, OS)
b) what you're trying to accomplish
c) what you've tried
and
d) the expected vs. actual results
