JEE related keywords shows error in the sample project imported in eclipse. I can understand that the relevant jee jars was not loaded. But my question is, while creating new jee project or importing an existing jee project doesn't eclipse automatically import the relevat jee jars as well ?

I would have thought so. Maybe Eclipse doesn't know where they are...
Best you ask about this on the WebTools forum/newsgroup after checking
the Preferences to see if it's all configured properly...
