Hi,
I'd like to know if it is possible to connect to Mondrian (OLAP server)? Or is there at least a way to define a XMLA data source?

No currently, but you should be able to access it with a scripted
dataset. If you have Java access to the cubes and data you should be
able to call this api from a scripted data source.

Thanks a lot for your feedback! I hope BIRT will include in future a dedicate connector as well.

We have an ODA framework for just this kind of feature. It allows users
to develop a custom GUI and run time data routines that will be called
by BIRT automatically. If you want more info on developing an ODA let
me know.
