Hi *.
When I create a new project in Eclipse, Eclipse creates several dot-files. I believe there are .settings (directory), .classpath, and .project, but I am sure there could be others. My question is: which of these is normally checked into the source repository, and which should be kept just locally (in the sandbox)?
TIA for any advice.

This is a page from a set I wrote as an article about using Git.
Nevertheless, what holds for Git also holds for Subversion, CVS, etc. in
terms of what you're asking:

OK, so I was more or less already doing most of that. Good to know that some things still make sense.
Thank You.
