Nested groups are not rendered correctly [message #717803]

In the attachment you can see a simple design I made to illustrate what I think to be a bug in the report generation: using multiple nested groups with the "drop" option I get an ugly "staircase effect". Is there a way to get rid of that? Or should I file a bug?

I thought this may be a padding issue, but after setting the padding to
0 it still persist. Can you open a bug for it?
