Hi all,

I have been trying to remove the Input Methods menu entry with absolutely no success. I've googling I has not been able to find the solution. I've tried to set gtk-show-input-method-menu and gtk-show-unicode-menu modifying the .gtkrc-2.0 and using gconftool-2. I have also tried with a Menu Listener to removed the entry before to show. No way. There is also a "org.eclipse.swt.internal.gtk.noInputMethod" constant but apparently does not change the behavior of my control. I'm running Ubuntu Lucid Lynx (10.04) and Eclipse Helios.

Any help? Than you very much in advance.

Hi Joaquin,

A fix was made in this area for non-native controls in 3.7, see
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=284777 . Are you using an
earlier Eclipse release than this? Does this address your case?
