hello,
i want to add BIRT to my Eclipse Indigo using update site:
Indigo - download.eclipse.org/releases/indigo/
Business Intelligence, Reporting and Charting
but i get this error:

An error occurred while collecting items to be installed
session context was:(profile=epp.package.modeling, phase=org.eclipse.equinox.internal.p2.engine.phases.Collect, operand=, action=).
No repository found containing: osgi.bundle,org.eclipse.xtext.xtend,1.0.2.v201102150722

any ideas?

Can you log a bug for this? As a work around you may want to just
directly download the framework zip.

Where can i download only the framework zip?
I need to use BIRT or go back to Helios.

Look for the framework download button on this page:
http://download.eclipse.org/birt/downloads/

Make sure you have the required packages listed beside it.
Were you able to log a bug on the update site?
