Updates with Eclipse are very uncomfortable - Why? [message #75191]

Second:

That's always confusing to me and with this error message
I always think there is something wrong with my installation, isn't it?

I feel your pain. A lot of work is currently going into provisioning.
The "p2" project [1] is delivering some new code that should address
these problems. The new code is expected in the M6 release and will be
part of the Eclipse Ganymede release.
