Hi,

after a forced restart and some file system repair eclispe doesn't start anymore. The Log starts with.

Any ideas how to repair this? I have attached the full log

Some Eclipse Files are still broken and probably You need to reinstall Eclipse
to get it to work.

I had this happen once and in my case it only took a forced restart after my computer failed to wake-up from hibernation (of course, eclipse was running prior to hibernation). Clearing out all the eclipse meta data (hidden folder in your workspace) got eclipse to open again for me. Problem is that you loose all history about your projects. By trial and error, I was able to figure out exactly which meta files were corrupt and delete just those files. This allowed me to get eclipse to start again and still have all my projects intact with just minor setting information lost.

It's always good to have some backup of Your data etc.
Probably You can transfer most of workspace from broken one :)
