Annoying behavior for auto-generating the URL [message #73097] Thu, 12 June 2008 11:10 Go to next message

Hi:

I recently wrote a tutorial for PDT + XDebug, here:

http://robsnotebook.com/php_debugger_pdt_xdebug

I have found some annoying behavior in 1.0.3 that didn't seem to be an
issue in 1.0.2. If you look in step 7.i.vi, it shows that the URL in the
"Auto Generate" contains the project name when I don't want to include the
project name in the URL.

Perhaps this is because I chose in step 7.e.4 (when creating the project)
to use the first option (to not create a subdirectory with my project name
when creating the project).

Can this be fixed? It didn't seem to do this in 1.0.2.

Thanks,
Rob

Reporting bugs is best done via Bugzilla, with full Steps to Reproduce
and details about what specific versions of the following that you use:

OS
Java
Eclipse
WTP
PDT

This isn't a bug, it was probably changed due to requests from other
users. However I think it would be worth raising an enhancement to allow
you to set a preference on whether the project name is included in the
auto generated URL or not.
