I try to start the AUT Agend but it alwasy fails with the following error message.
'The JVM could not be started. Them maximum heap size (-Xmx) might to be too large or an antivirus or firewall tool could block the execution.'

Win XP 32 Bit SP 3 on VMWare
Intel Xenon (E5440) with 2GB ram.
No antivirus tool.
Windows firewall disabled.

Any ideas ?

Regards

Andreas

That configuration matches our nightly test environment for XP almost exactly. No idea what is going on.

Could you please check the log files (in your home directory in a .jubula sub directory) and attach them to this thread.

The log file is empty Sad
....\.jubula\logs\aut_agent.log

Could I start a debug mode ? Or run it via the command shell ?

To change the heap size you have to insert -J-Xmx following the autaugent.exe command and insert a specific value (64, 128, 256 etc.)
I hope this solves your problem.
Best regards

Hi Andreas,
recently I had this error message, too. At this point I was logged in with user rights. When I logged in with admin-rights, the AUTAgent started correctly.
Later I installed JDK 1.6 Update 26 on my machine, now the AUTAgent starts correctly when I'm logged in as a user.
At first appearance I have no idea, why this happens this way, but it's what I observed.

Deviating from your configuration I'm running a virus scanner, but in both as user as well as as admin account.
Regards,
Niels

Still no luck ...
@Niels
I allways work as admin on my test maschine, and have already java 1.6 fp 26 installed.

@Oliver
Starting autaugent.exe -J-Xmx 64 (or 128...) brings still up the error.
Starting autaugent.exe -J-Xmx64 (or 128...) shows no error but the agent doesn't start.
Also the aut_agent.log is still empty. Nothing in the event/application log

Regards

Andreas

Typing autaugent.exe -J-Xmx64m brings up the agent.
So the little 'm' was missing.

Thaks all for help.
