Higgins and authorization support? [message #6386] Mon, 17 September 2007 10:54
Eclipse UserFriend
Hi,

I will become more familiar with Higgins. I understand Higgins primary
as identity system which manages different of my identities, profiles
and authentication.
Within enterprise application authorization support is also an importent
part to authorize e.g. services, functions or UI controls for the
current user.
Is authorization support within applications part of Higgins or is
Higgins more the tail? So the application should use something like JAAS
but Higgins could be a system which provides permissions?

Regards,
Alexander
