Dear all,

I didn't know exactly where to mention this but here goes. As of today I have found that SWT on the pc does not allow the SWT web browser to navigate twitter properly. Someones profile page is loaded up correctly, however, you cannot see their tweets or anything of real value. Also sometimes when you refresh the page all you get is the twitter banner at the top of the screen.

Cheers,

Nick

PC stands for Personal Computer which can run a variety of
operating systems such as Linux, Mac and Windows, Linux
being the best in my view. Stating your OS might be helpful
to those who use and know Twitter.

Ah sorry my mistake I meant Windows, as it uses the IE core.

Can you confirm that it works on the same machine in stand-alone IE? If
it used to work but now doesn't, do you remember doing a Windows Update
in the meantime (could have made changes to the underlying IE)? And
which eclipse/swt version are you using? If it's a version earlier than
3.7 then I would suggest trying 3.7, since it's the first version whose
Browser control will use a modern IE version to its fullest extent
(previous to eclipse/swt 3.7 the embedded IE always ran in IE7 emulation
mode).
