XSD -> Html -> XML [message #71328] Sun, 21 January 2007 14:09 Go to next message

Hi

I am trying to dynamically generate html forms from a runtime xsd, submit
data, and then generate valid xml.
For this I have started using this infoset model. Eventually I would like to
also have the xsd and the earlier generated xml and then be able to edit it
again in a html form.

I have no knowledge of the xsd beforehand - they are added at runtime.

With EMF XSD I have gotten as far as to generate the html-form but I am
stuck generating valid xml from the submitted values.

Any ideas?

I just read that OpenXSD could help me, but I can't find it.

I am trying to do what jaxfront.org does in their product.

/Chr

Christian,

I believe that the WTP (WebTools) project has some type of support for
generating an instance XML given an XML Schema, but I don't know any
details about that. I'd suggest searching their newsgroup...
