Hi all,

is it possible to deploy my plug-in into Eclipse RAP? Are there any tutorials available?

Thanks,

Ralph

Hi ralph,

There is some stuff going on about integration of GEF into RAP:
* http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9zc0vcjfJg
* http://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/mv/tree/197460/629553/
* https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=285397
Since the UI part of GMF fully relies on GEF, I don't think there is
anything more to do for GMF than for GEF to get diagrams working with RAP.

However, I don't know how mature and difficult it is. Having a GEF
diagram over RAP probably causes troubles with performance and
scalability. But that's for sure worth trying!

I suggest you to ask the RAP forum.

Hi,

I already thought that it should depend on GEF. I will check with the people in the GEF forum on how to do this scenario.

Thank you very much!

Ralph
