Hey,

I was reading through this article on how to manipulate java source code using JDT core here. It refers to being able to modify an ICompilationUnit by using an 'in-memory copy' of the unit. However, why would I do this when I can just modify the ICompilationUnit directly, without making a copy?

Edit - Apologies, I posted this in the wrong forum.
I've reported this post to the mods asking them to move it
to the JDT forum.

Thanks
