"sec_error_unknown_issuer", still with the exception added in the Firefox profile. [message #70319] Tue, 07 July 2009 10:25

Hi,

I'm using Mylyn 3.2 that comes with Galileo, with JIRA support.

Using the internal browser, I have a security warning when I "Open with
Web Browser" a JIRA task (Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer).

I understand this is due to the Jira server (self-signed) certificate,
and applied the workaround described here:
http://wiki.eclipse.org/Mylyn/FAQ#Why_do_I_get_an_error_when _accessing_secured_web_sites.3F

While I get no security warning visiting the JIRA site using "firefox
-profile ~/.mozilla/eclipse -no-remote" (i.e.: the exception is working
fine), I still get the warning with the internal web browser.

It's like if the internal web browser is not using this profile.
Any ideas to make the internal web browser work ?

Am I missing something ?

Emmanuel.
