Is it possible the BIRT manage the parameters of the DataSet according to the query parameters, creating these parameters automatically in DataSet?

Regards

Can you explain more about what you mean? To create a dataSet parameter in your query, you simply use a '?' as a marker. BIRT automatically creates a dataSet parameter for this under the parameters tab of the dataSet editor. From here, you can either enter a value for the parameter or link it to a report parameter for input by a user or external application. Let me know if this doesn't help.

I would like the BIRT once I insert the query already with parameters,
the BIRT take these parameters and create these parameters in dataSet,
in sequence correct, after would link in the parameters of report manually.

Like Michael said the data set parameters are created automatically.
For example create a new datasource against the sample db. Create a new
dataset with the following query:

select * from orderdetails where ordernumber = ?

This will automatically create a dataset parameter. You can link this
dataset parameter to a report parameter by editing the dataset and
selecting the parameters tab.

This should work with oracle as well. Are you using the textual jdbc
dataset?

If you can post the bug info in here after you log it, it could be helpful to others who stumble across this thread with the same issue.

Thanks!

Michael
