superscript rendering [message #70218] Mon, 06 July 2009 17:41 Go to next message

I am using WikiText for converting textile to html. I found it does not
detect superscript if there is no space ahead of it.
For example, ab^3^ will not be detected.

But on http://www.textism.com/tools/textile/index.php , it can detect it.

Does any one have some comment?

Thank you!

Yu,

This looks like a defect. Interestingly http://textile.thresholdstate.com/ requires a preceding space. It's likely
that this is a recent change to Textile. Please post a bug under Tools/Mylyn/WikiText at bugs.eclipse.org.

I just reported it as a bug.

Btw, I also found that for -- . The following case doesn't work.
1) "a--b"
2) " -- "
3) "a --b"

It looks like "--" has to be surrounded with spaces and also requires char
before and after the spaces.

All these three cases works in http://textile.thresholdstate.com/ and
http://textism.com/tools/textile/index.php

Shall I report it as a bug also?

Thanks!
