Instructions for installing OpenVXML 4.0

1) Download the RCP & Plugin Developer's package of Eclipse. You will need the latest version called Helios (or 3.6).
2) Install this Eclipse to a new location on your machine.
3) Start the new Eclipse install.
4) Using the menu, select Help->Install New Software
5) This will bring up the following dialog:
6) Paste the following URL into the Work with: text area and click the Add... Button.
http://download.eclipse.org/technology/vtp/helios/
7) Check the box next to OpenVXML 4.0 and click Finish.
Cool Accept any licenses and restart eclipse. You now have OpenVXML 4.0 installed.

How do I download the 4.0 source code? Is it ready? I've tried:

https://dev.eclipse.org/svnroot/technology/org.eclipse.vtp/Framework/branches/4.0.0/plugins/

but I cannot find matching desktop projects. If I take the Desktop projects from:

https://dev.eclipse.org/svnroot/technology/org.eclipse.vtp/Desktop/trunk/plugins/

I get build errors in one of the projects.

Please advise!

Thanks, Carlos
BTW: I've posted a few questions already to this forum and not a single reply! Is this project dead as far as support? Somebody say something!

Carlos, you're looking in the right spot, but are in the wrong branch.
I'd suggest switching both the Desktop and Framework projects over to
the
enhanced-team-support
branch; this is where the active development is currently happening.
