Hello everyone.

I've been using PDT for a while now but recently became saddened by the fact:
Quote:
Due to lack of a package maintainer for the Indigo release there will be no PHP (PDT) package. If you would like to install PDT into your Eclipse installtion you can do so by using the Install New Software feature from the Help Menu and installing the PHP Development Tools (PDT) SDK Feature from the Eclipse Indigo Repo >> http...

So, my question is:
Is there any download link for the latest PDT SDK package which I can download and then install through Eclipse being offline?

I need to install PDT SDK within Eclipse, in a machine(at work) that has no Internet connection!

Thanks in advance.

Think I've figured it out.

Install Eclipse classic (Indigo) and the latest PDT SDK package through it, in a PC having Internet connection. Then move the installation (directory) to some other PC along with other folders (if any) where changes have been made by the installation.

Frankly, with the state of the PDT project right now, I think I'll just switch to Netbeans 7.0 PHP.

Yes, that is possible to do it. I like this feature because I can do some
eclipse backups and in case of something wrong then it's easy to restore.

There is no stable build of eclipse Indigo with new PDT, in fact it's not ready
so I think for You would be better to instal previous version, it's not perfect
but much better for production enviroments.

BTW: I also had some thought about netbeans, but could not stand it for longer
time and too much is missing for me there (like Mylyn).

@dominik,

Thank you, for your words. For a moment, I thought that this community has become post-apocalyptic following the Indigo release.

No, it's not that bad :)
There was so much changes in indigo that not everything is updated in PDT, some
features are just broken now, but I hope this will get much better in future.
Eclipse is great tool and it's worth to use it.
Nightly builds should be back soon, then again we will be able to test new
bugfixes etc. That should boost many things and let future development.

Great to know. It's always nice to see Open Source projects fighting and surviving.
