A visual designer for XML based UI is now open=sourced as an Eclipse Labs project. This was hitherto a commercial designer product.

This editor leverages EMF, GEF, JEM, JDT plugins. It can be customized (annotated) to support any XML UI schema and any UI library (Swing, SWT, Custom).

It has a flyout pallette, multi-tab property editor, a 100% WYSIWYG designer canvas in addition to a host of features such as Visual Inheritance.

Hello Sanjeev,

Today I have downloaded your SwixEditor. Since one year I use SwiXml to design my GUI's. I have developed some custom tag's. Have you a documentation to add custom gui components to SwixEditor? I did add with "Custom Controls" under the "Tool" Menu. I got the error message "Error Loading". Where can I see what's wrong?
