Install Plugins via P2 in RCP [message #685851]

Hello,

I have a RCP application[similar to the mail template] in Helios which is P2 enabled. I want the RCP to be able to install the some plugins [CDT plugins to be specific] using the update feature.

But I get a connection timeout error whenever I try to install, I ve tried both local repository (downloaded the zip) and also the update site ["http://download.eclipse.org/tools/cdt/releases/helios/"].

I have also posted the question in the CDT forum as i could not really tell where could be the issue. Could some please help me in installing new plugins[CDT]in a RCP application? Thanks in advance for help.
