Khalid,

The source is not available yet. We are hesitant to release it until
after the project gets out of Proposal and moves into Incubation. The
reason for the hesitancy is that all of the licensing and package
layouts will change once it becomes an official Eclipse project. So we
would prefer to not have two versions of code out there if it can be
helped. It the project approval does not move along smoothly and
quickly then we will entertain and interim release.

Is there any prediction as to when the Useme project will be available for
download? We are very much interested in participation on this project.

Hi Gilles,

We will have a download available by the end of next week. I will notify you
when it is ready.

You should note, however, that ORMF is going through a substantial
re-engineering to create an extensible framework. Therefore the Useme that
will be made available next week is to be considered as a technology preview
of the form that an exemplary tool may take. Once the framework is complete,
Useme will be re-implemented base on ORMF.

Your participation would be welcomed. If you are interested in contributing
to the discussion to create a new model at the core of ORMF, I invite you to
visit the our Wiki at (http://wiki.eclipse.org/)

All the best,
Joel

Unfortunately do to an illness in the family we will not be able to complete
this work for several more weeks. We will post an update as the situation
becomes clearer.

Sorry for the delay.

Hi,

Is there a download link available for Useme? I can't seem to find it on
the Eclipse incubator site, nor on the old site.

I'm interested in test-driving the software, and also to understand how
the ORMF is being implemented (which I understand from previous post was
released in February?)

Dear Joel :

I have long been interested in this technology; having seen a working
product last year. Unfortunately, it seems that the product is now in
limbo.

I am currently available and would love to spend some time helping on the
implementation of this product. Please contact me if that is of interest
to you.

Otherwise, could we have a short status as to when ORMF will be avilable?

Gilles
