I format a text-element within a grid and I want to set a valign=bottom.

If I do that (via birt-styple xor css-style) than:
* looks the ReportDesigner very well (@see reportdesinger-screenshot)
* but if I preview my report into browser (firefox/chrome/safari) than all valign=top (@see preview-screenshot)
* and if I export my report to pdf than I got the same problem.

I want to configure this via css-file. What must I do? ( @see my.css what not worked at runtime)
* I added valign and vertical-align on many selectors.

I use birt-2.5.2(gallileo) on macosx (leopard) with java-1.6

Many THANKS for each reply.

This looks like a bug. Can you please log a bugzilla entry for this?

In 2.6.2 I got this to work in pdf just not html. It may be good to add
a sample report for the devs on that bugzilla entry.

Many thanks to Jason

* I will upgrade my birt-runtime-dependency to 2.6.2 and test it.
* And I will try to seperate the problem to a single report for bugzilla-ticket.

A quickfix for the failor:
* define css-selector: text-notop
.text-notoyp{padding-top: 20px}

* import/reload css-file
* apply 'text-notop' style to related element
