Hi all,

In one of our student projects we started to use the graphiti plugin and now we have some dependency issues. Due the graphiti UI plugin has strong dependency to "org.eclipse.ide" we have more plugins in our projects which makes our application not kind of lightweight. Wink Therefore my question - is something planned to get rid of this dependency to "org.eclipse.ide"?

Daniel,

we know about this dependency and currently need it. Since this was not
requested so far there are no concrete plans in this respect.

But I see that this definitely is an issue for RCP development in Graphiti.
This should be made obvious and tracked by a bugzilla, and we should try to
get rid of the dependency. Would you open a bugzilla for this?

Thanks,
Michael
