I add a class and a profile. Then I add dependency between class and profile to connect them, but it semms not to work. Is this a papyrus bug or what I am trying to do it's not allowed by UML sintax?

From a strict UML point of view a Dependency can be connected between any NamedElement. As Class and Profile both inherit from NamedElement, UML allow you to connect some of them with dependencies.

That said, I'm not sure about your real intents, are you trying to use or create a profile ?

Also could you give some information about the version of Papyrus you are using, and the kind of diagram in which you try to connect a Class and a Profile ?

I'm trying to use a profile, i.e., i'm trying connect a class and a profile and thus access a tagged value of the profile. I need to know if this is correct in UML?

Ok, then adding dependencies between Class and Profile will be useless.
