As you indict PHP here, you might find more help from those who do PHP.
This would be the Eclipse PDT forum.

So it should. I just thought that this might be something the PHP-ers
know more about. Good luck.

I would love to get PHP to work in a way I can verify inside my Eclipse environment.

I have Helios Eclipse 2.6
I am using Tomcat v 7.0.14
I have PHP VC6 w32 5.2.17 installed and the cmd shell runs properly but inside my IDE nojoy.

can anyone tell me how to target a php file and have it DO something so I can verify that PHP is working ...

TY for help.

(You shouldn't hijack threads for asking more questions, but start a new
one.)

As I already noted earlier in this thread, you'll get more and better
help with Eclipse plus PHP in the Eclipse PDT forum.
