no bars on barchart for y values of 1 on logarithmic y axis [message #674631]

My y-axis is set to type LOGARITHMIC_LITERAL. When I have data with a y-value of 1 it is allocated space on the chart but doesn't actually show up with a visible bar. I guess this kind of makes since because the y-axis starts at 1, but it makes it very inconvenient for my needs as the values with y=1 are the most interesting in my chart.

Is there any trick I can do to get these 1 values to visibly show up on a log y axis bar chart?
