Is it possible to add eclipse main menu group [message #674319]

For eclipse top level main menu, I know there is "additions" group maker,
and normally, we contribute main menu to this group.

But is there any method to define another group maker in for main menu?
I haven't found such function.
for second level menu,its very easy to define such groups.

Traditionally those groups are added by your ActionBarAdvisor when creating the main menu bar. You can add it there.

What if you add an separator with visible="false" to the menu:org.eclipse.ui.main.menu? That should work as well.
