Hi all,

how is it possible to use the internel web browser (in eclipse) on my platform? I'm using Gentoo Linux. I can't choose 'Use internal web browser' because its ghosted.
What do I miss to use the internal browser?

Thanks,
Martin

Hi Martin,

It's probably trying and failing to create a Browser control, so it disables
the option. You should not need to do anything explicit for this to work,
but I would suggest trying a very recent eclipse build, as the native
browser support on linux has gone through a lot of churn. You can get the
latest 3.7RC2 build from
http://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/downloads/drops/I20110519-1138/index.php
(don't worry about the red 'X' beside the download, it should still work for
you).
