I've installed the STS (including the SpringSource dm Server Tools) and am attempting to add a Virgo server, but it's not available. Any ideas how I get the Virgo server to be added in Eclipse (Helios) so I can add it to my project?

If you mean that Virgo is not available from the list of server types that could be added, you would need to install Virgo tooling from this update site: http://dist.springsource.com/release/TOOLS/update/e3.6. Go to Help -> Install New Software to install it. The tool used to be a part of STS, but was excluded in 2.6.0.

Is there something special that has to be done once this tooling has been installed? Virgo does not show up as a Server option and the dm Server 2.1 does not recognize the Virgo install.

This is pretty much a showstopper being unable to use STS 2.6 (or 2.7 as of today) for any Virgo development.

Thanks,
Jan

After the installation of the tool, Virgo Web Server should be available under EclipseRT. Hope this helps.

I've installed all the tools and it doesn't show up:
http://screencast.com/t/G2AFG3H4

I had to, instead, go through Preferences > Server > Runtime Environments and then add it in there. Once I added that, I could pull up the Servers tab and add a new Virgo install to the RT. Took me a long time to figure that out.

Just in case anybody had the same confusion as I - the tooling that you need to add from the extensions panel is the DM Server Tooling and not Eclipse Virgo RT as might be expected.
