Ok, I'm a newbie even if I'm an IT students at my local university. On my Ubuntu installation I installed apache2, php5, xdebug (all with default configurations).
I followed all the guides to configure Eclipse PDT and I tried to map my local path to my server path.
As local path I chose my path in workspace (/phptest). For the path on server I tried:
/var/www
/var/www/phptest
/phptest

and many other combinations but no one worked.

Could you please please help me understanding the path mapping feature?

Thanks in advance
