Notification of reconnection "abort" [message #666884]

I'm looking to find some way of receiving notification of a Reconnection Feature "abort". I'm trying to set the visibility of a PictogramElement to false while a reconnection drag is in progress and then reappear if the connection is dropped before making a reconnection. I have my own class extending DefaultReconnectionFeature and using the "canReconnect" method for notification of the drag start, so I'm able to make the PictogramElement disappear easy enough, but I haven't been able to track down where I might hook in to receive notification of a drag drop or if it is really even possible. Any ideas?

Currently there are no hooks for that, but I think it makes sense to introduce a cancelled hook. Would you please open an enhancement bugzilla for this?

There looks to be a feature request very similar to mine about creating connections that asks for notification for failed connections:

Should I amend this feature request to add Reconnections? Or if you prefer, I can make a new feature request.

You are right, they are similar. I would nevertheless prefer a seperate
bugzilla, that references tis one.
