[Acceleo] generate the emtl files somewhere else, or how to tell Buckminster to generate them? [message #666744] Fri, 22 April 2011 06:41 Go to next message

Hi,
I use buckminster for building and packaging (Texo). I understand that if I use Acceleo that additional emtl files are
generated in the bin folder for the mtl file. Is there an easy way to tell Buckminster to generate the emtl files when
building (or does this happen automagically)?

Or can I tell Acceleo to generate these emtl files somewhere else so I can put them in cvs (and let Buckminster just
download them and copy them to the output folder)?

Hi Martin,

You should be able to configure the default output folder of your project just like in a Java project.

For you build process, we provide two Acceleo Ant tasks to launch the generation from Ant in stand alone (buildstandalone.xml starting with Acceleo 3.1.0 M7 but if you need it it easy to create one for Acceleo 3.0.x) and one plugged as a custom callback for a PDE build (build.acceleo). We are also working on Maven integration which will start to be released for Acceleo 3.1.0 M7 next month. And we also have an Ant task that we generate for the stand alone generation. You just have to call the Ant/Maven script from your build process.
