Hi guys...

Is it possible at this point to hook up the property view with selections in a Sapphire-generated editor? I ask for two reasons...

1) If the user clicks on something in the outline, they should see properties there.

2) If they click on a graphic on a graphical page, the same thing should happen since we're not showing properties directly on the graphical editor page.

Anything in place already?

There is nothing in place for this yet, but we are just about ready to start working on adding this for diagram editor. You will be able to associate property view content with nodes and connections. Should be ready soon.

Regarding similar thing for the form page outline, we haven't had a usecase for that yet. How would that be different than showing content in the details section (right hand side of the editor) when an item is selected in the outline?

The outline view may not be as important in the form editor case, but would still be handy for the graphical editor case. So you're probably right. Smile

Yes, indeed, it is critical for the diagram case.

I think you've got the key bits listed, so I'm not too worried. And hopefully if you get the basic mechanism in place, it wouldn't be too tough to add to anything else we find needs hooks to the property viewer using the same paradigm.

This feature has been implemented. See details in the architecture sample and the what's new for 0.3 release document in the developer guide.

Let us know if you have any feedback on this.
