Cell Biosciences is a private life sciences company focused on revolutionizing protein research through the use of nano-proteomics. Our biotech instruments are used by molecular biologists in research labs around the world.
We are looking for a software developer to support the development of our new biotech research instruments. As a key member of a small team you will develop instrument control and analysis software in Java based on the Eclipse framework. Your knowledge of Eclipse plug-in development will enable you to expand our Eclipse RCP application with user interface features including, video display, real time plots and analyzed data tables. This powerful application runs on Mac OSX and Windows.
Requirements:
• Proficiency with Java
• Strong communication skill and team-work orientation
• B.S. in Computer Science or related field, advanced degree preferred
Desirable Experience:
• Java Eclipse plug-in development is a strong plus
• Knowledge of molecular biology helpful
