Installation, grey screen when opening file [message #662976]

I have just installed php for eclipse using:

* Help->Install New Software.

Helios update site: http://download.eclipse.org/releases/helios/

etc, but whenever I create a project, php file or try to open a php file the screen where it should display the file is blank and grey.

I have reinstalled several times and tried:
http://download.eclipse.org/tools/pdt/updates/2.2/milestones .

Any ideas?

Something errors might be logged in "workspace/.metadata/.log".
(also make sure you're able to open html file)

I cant find an error log, but I can open html files fine. If i open a php file and an html file, you can read the HTML file if both are open(php on top) - the body of the php file seems to be clear....
