I'm using Zend Studio, which is built on eclipse, but I haven't ever added new parts to it. The Documentation for egit doesn't have an installation section that I could see. I see the download site for egit, but am unsure how to specify it within Zend Studio / Eclipse as an 'update site' or to manually place any file downloaded into the correct directory. Perhaps a link to an appropriate Eclipse page is all I need. Thanks!

Hi Joe,

go to Help > Install New Software

There add http://download.eclipse.org/egit/updates as update site (using the
Add button).
Then select all features and continue with the wizard.
