Hello.
There is currently no concrete plan for multiple file selection in the
FileUpload widget. The FileDialog in the incubator allows to upload
multiple files, but you have to pick them individually.
If you have a need for multiple file selection in the FileUpload widget
itself, open an enhancement request on bugzilla. It will probably not be
added in 1.4, but it should not be so hard to do for the next version of
RAP.
