Hello all,

I am new to MTJ and I have a big problem.

I am running under Ubuntu 10.10 x86 with eclipse 3.6.

My mtj eats up all my existing harddisk space of my partition.
MTJ generates /tmp/_mtj.tmp<myusername> and adds for every eclipse project a folder with an id. So far so good. But I have for each eclipse project many many ids.
It takes eclipse about 2-3h to eat up my space.

And if I forgot to clean up the data my systems get stuck and many applications begin to fail - of course of missing /tmp-space.

Please tell me how to fix it, or if is a known bug.

bye
hkais

mtj uses the temporary area when preverifying the jar files. It expands them to the temporary location and then moves the preverified classes to the midlet jar. I guess in your case there are just too many jar files that midlet depends on.

This is suspicious because typically even the highest end of the devices do not allow midlets jars larger than a few MBs.

Now I also have the same issue on Windows7.
My dependencies are only a few jars. I see many j2mepolis(-rmi and -runtime) folders in the temp.
But anyway, why does MTJ extract the jar so many times? It does not change.
