Hello,

I'm using the results of a previous project (author is not available in person any more, so my only reference is his written documentation) as input for my own project. This previous project extends the diff model with a couple of classes specific for our needs and enriches each diff group with some extra information.

According to the definition in the previous work, the left model is the older or original model, whereas the right model is the newer or evolved/changed model.

Then I came across a comment in the project code saying "EMF compare is weird, the left model is the newer and the right the older one..."

What is the correct definition?

Thanks!
