Hello,

i'm just wondering, if the UML2Tools project contains gmfmap files which are incorrect. For example, if i try to validate the classDiagram.gmfmap file i get tons of errors. Which gmf files were used to generate the UML2Tools?

Regards,
Thomas

I don't think you can directly validate a class diagram but you could validate the EMF class diagram.
GMF is the graphical mapping of EMF to create UML diagrams used in the UML2tools.
btw, Topcased and Papyrus are also using the same GMF/EMF architecture.

What you could try to validate is to export you class diagram into an model .uml file. Once exported you open this .uml file with UML Editor and finally click on the Validate model option of this plugin.
This is not live validation but it could do the job.

Hope this help.
