When I validate a WSDL in the Eclipse WST WSDL editor it shows up the following errors -

cvc-complex-type.2.4.a: Invalid content was found starting with element 'wsdl:fault'

cvc-minLength-valid: Value '' with length = '0' is not facet-valid with respect to minLength '1' for type 'NMTOKENS'.

cvc-attribute.3: The value '' of attribute 'parts' on element 'soap:body' is not valid with respect to its type, 'NMTOKENS'.

But the same errors don't show up in XML Spy.

Is it that the WST WSDL Validate is doing the wrong thing, or that XML Spy validations are very relaxed??

Are you using the Professional Edition or Enterprise Edition. There are differences in the level of validation for each.

Please refer to thislink for more information:

Hope this helps.
